To use this product you can unwrap the ribbon to remove the gemstone and incense. To smudge, simply light the entire bundle briefly, blow out the flame and waft the smoke around your home. Many cultures offer a blessing when they smudge to remove negative energy from their space. The bundle should be put on a metal or ceramic dish until the smoke goes out completely (don't leave unattended).
